Sheet-metal work on roofs and façades
The sheet-metal trade is about guiding water to the right place. Leaking gutters, poor flashings around chimneys and rooflights or rusty valley gutters quickly lead to damp damage in the roof structure. We make new and repair old – on houses, farms, commercial buildings and new builds.
We offer
- New gutters and downpipes in zinc, copper, aluminium and plastic
- Cleaning and repair of existing gutters
- Flashings around chimneys, rooflights, dormers and vents
- Valley gutters and eaves flashings
- Zinc and copper roofs and façade cladding
- Window sills, wall copings and bargeboards
- Vent cowls for ventilation and cooker hoods
Zinc, copper or aluminium?
| Material | Lifetime | Characteristics |
|---|---|---|
| Zinc | 40–60 years | Classic Danish look, weathers to grey, good value |
| Copper | 80–100+ years | Weathers to green, extremely durable, higher price |
| Aluminium | 30–40 years | Light, available in colours, maintenance-free |
| Plastic | 15–25 years | Cheapest, suitable for sheds and carports |
Metalwork
Besides plumbing and sheet metal we carry out light metalwork – steel pipe runs, brackets, fittings and repairs related to heating and ventilation installations.
Sheet-metal work in Billund, Grindsted, Give and Vejle
We work throughout Billund Municipality and the surrounding area. If you combine sheet-metal work with a roof renovation, we are happy to coordinate with your carpenter so the flashings are made while the scaffolding is up.
